Mr.小曽根実@Day by Day

I visited a jazz club “Day by Day” on Monday to meet a nice bassist Miss. Naomi Nakamura
for January 21st gig at Mr. Kelly’s.
The club was cozy. Many people were enjoying to jam session.
I came across Mr. Minoru Ozone who is a great pianist and the judge
of Kobe Jazz Vocal Queen Contest. “Wow, what a coincidence!”
Fortunately, I could jam session with him. We enjoyed a few tunes.
To be honest, I got a little nervous because I thought I had to sing well.
After the session, he asked me to hug him and said to me ” You might get pregnant, he he..”
He’s funny and still young and attractive even though he’s 74 yrs old.
After then he gave me some good advice.
One of his advice is ” To chant is like chat.” I got some hints from his words.
I was so lucky to see him and get to know how I should practice.
I had a meaningful good time at Day by Day…

もどかしい思いをするので出来るだけ英語使うようにしようと思います・・）
この月曜は「Day by Day」と言うクラブに来年1月21日にMr.Kelly’sで初共演のベーシスト
中村尚美さんに会うために行って来ました。
お店はとても居心地のいいクラブでした。沢山の人がセッションを楽しんでました。
そこには偶然、あの素晴らしいピアニストそして神戸ジャズヴォーカルクィーンコンテストの審査員
小曽根実氏が遊びに来られてました。「うわ～偶然ですね～」とご挨拶。
そしてラッキーなことに小曽根パパ（と呼ばれてる）のピアノで２・３曲唄うことが出来ました。
楽しかったけど、ぶっちゃけ内心（上手く唄わねばー）と緊張しました（笑）
セッションが終わるとパパは「はい、ハグして～」とハグをしました。
「あ、これで妊娠したかもしれないよ。（笑）」と、とても74歳とは思えなくお茶目でお若い方。
席に戻っていくつかヴォーカリストへのアドバイスをしてくれました。
「唄はおしゃべり♪」
この言葉に私はいくつかのヒントがありました。
偶然小曽根パパと出会えてセッションも出来、アドバイスももらえてほんとラッキーでした♪
とても有意義ないい時間を過ごせましたDay by Dayで・・・
